This week at Henri Beene Mens Fashion and Style there has been an abundance of Autumn Winter stock arriving. The autumn winter season has arrived quite rapidly taking prescedence over the already existing summer reductions. The summer reductions have been an ideal opportunity to decrease the stock of which was available and make way for the new autumn winter styles. I know at this point in the year I start to look forward to seeing new styles and stock entering the Henri Beene store and get intrigued to see what the alternative styles will be this season and if there is any common theme or colour running through the different brands. Since the previous blog we have received a large amount of new stock including the autumn winter collection of Belstaff Jackets, Hugo Boss Orange, Hugo Boss Green and Hugo Boss Black clothing and footwear and a new brand for the season PS by Paul Smith. The Belstaff Jackets collection demonstrates a complete collection of the legends that are in the Belstaff range. For example the Belstaff Roadmaster, Original Trialmaster, Streetmaster, Belstaff Redford, Sammy Miller and the Belstaff Legend Jacket. The Belstaff Jackets all have very classic design features including the Belstaff phoenix branding to the jackets, the buckle fastening strap to the collar appears on a majority of the jackets, waxed cotton covering the fabric of the jackets and on the legends like the Panther, Belstaff Sammy Miller and Trialmaster a branded tag to the lower front of the jacket with the production number of that particular jacket. The features of the Belstaff jackets are certainly the eye catching componants that illustrate the technical features of Belstaff and the heritage around this brand. The Belstaff Jackets have been quite a consistant componant of outerwear at the Henri Beene mens fashion store and the brands stand strongly with the rest of the jacket collections and clothing brands to add to the strength of the Henri Beene store. Also new this week is a strong few additions to the Hackett London brand including new Hackett polo shirts, sweatshirts, Hackett jacket and blazer. The Hackett moleskin jacket is styled on the Hackett brand page at Henri Beene with the Hackett striped red shirt. The Hackett tailored fit blazer jacket has a two button fastening front placket with Hackett branded buttons. A stand out feature of the Hackett jacket is the intricate inner lining with inner pockets and the contrasting tartan fabric to under the collar. The Hackett Jacket is quite typically Hackett however different to the other products we have an offer this season from Hackett. Hackett is quite illustrated and has a large selection of heavy branding and logos to the Hackett clothing however this particular jacket is quite subtle and stands out as being a slightly more formal part of the Hackett collection with us at Henri Beene. Today there has been two new trainers to the Hugo Boss Orange footwear range including the Seattor and the Kikko trainer. These trainers are very linear with an abundance of Hugo Boss Orange branding allowing them to highlight the Hugo Boss name and brand. In addition to this there is also two new styles of Adidas Originals, gazelle indoor in colours royal blue and dark green. The Adidas Originals footwear is a classically designed footwear brand that highlight the design of the iconic trainer and illuminate what a trainer should be. The Gazelle Indoor Adidas Original trainers are heavilly branded with the Adidas logo and again the gold emboseed Gazelle script to the side. The Adidas Originals classics are an iconic piece of footwear with the Adidas three stripes to the sides and the contrasting Adidas Gazelle gold embossed branding to the upper. Adidas Originals are set to increase at Henri Beene but for now check out the two new pairs we do have available just to remind yourself of the iconic design surrounding Adidas Originals. Last week there was a large array of new stock bombrading the Henri Beene website, one brand being four new styles from the Barbour Beacon Heritage Range. The four new jackets are all autumn winter styles and are set to insulate all Barbour Jacket wearers for the trecherous british winter ahead. The Barbour Jackets include a Mountain Parka Jacket, Barbour Sports Jacket, Mount Shirt Jacket in Olive and the Barbour Field Jacket in a distressed navy. The Barbour Beacon Heritage Range is a capsual collection designed by Tokito a japanese designer. The designs of these Barbour Jackets are still very true to their roots with influences of the Barbour design running through the core of the jackets. For example all the jackets are influenced from the classic heritage of Barbour and some of the archive jackets, they are heavily embossed with Barbour branding and the designs are essentially british, keeping true to the Barbour roots with the added beneficial influence of the outstanding designer Tokito. The Barbour Field Jacket for the autumn winter season is finished in a distressed coated cotton fabric that offers the Barbour Jacket a worn vintage look taking it beyond the normal, this jacket is quilted, not waxed and is styled on the archival field Barbour Jacket. It has four large pockets to the front, a high standing collar with concealed hood, Barbour branded buttons and zip pull, inner blue suede lined collar, velcro adjustable cuffs and classic Barbour tartan lining to the inner. The Barbour Jackets are technical jackets combined with the classic ethics of fashion design and these season I personally feel the four styles of the Barbour Beacon Heritage Range Tokito Jackets are an outstanding representation of this. At the Henri Beene Mens Fashion and Style store the spring summer reductions have been making an appearance on the website past few previous weeks and the reductions are getting updated on a weekly basis. The time for the spring summer sale is ever seemingly appropriate with the first new stock of the autumn winter season arriving. The spring summer sale always makes way for the new stock and allows our customer to see the difference between seasons and to make a guideline between what is spring summer stock and what is the new autumn winter clothing. At Henri Beene the summer reductions have been placed on a large selection of our brands offering differing reductions on each brand. Last week the Lacoste and Paul Smith Jeans clothing had more reductions placed on them offering a larger discount across the brands. The Lacoste polo shirts 1212 had another reduction placed on them taking them from being £74.99 down to £39.99. The Lacoste polo shirts are an item of Lacoste that we stock all year round and through each season and the colours that have been reduced are the colours that are predominantly for the spring summer season. The colours include bright salmon, green, anise, citrus yellow, indigo blue, red, biscuit, blue and bright pink. The colours are very bright and fresh for the spring summer season but as mentioned previously they are predominantly for this current spring summer season and offering them with a reduction will allow them to make way for the new autumnal colours of the autumn winter season. The Lacoste 1212 Polo is the classic Lacoste polo which was designed by Rene Lacoste as a sporting tennis polo shirt designed and produced to keep out the moisture of the game of tennis using a specific 100% pique cotton. The Lacoste polo shirt also has the Lacoste crocodile branding to the chest and is finished with a clean lined button fastening front placket. Joining the latest reductions of Lacoste is more reductions on the Paul Smith Jeans clothing. The Paul Smith Jeans tee shirts, polo shirts and Paul Smith Jeans sweatshirts all got an added reduction last week taking their sale price to the majority being half price. It does feel like the summer weather has eventually arrived and that all our wardrobes are breathing a sigh of relief to now be able to wear some of the summer clothing that we have been waiting to wear all year. The summer season evokes short sleeved tee shirts, shorts, sunglasses and less layers. The summer season also suggests an alternative colour palette to that of the autumn winter season taking the colours from autumnal rusts, greys, navy and burgundy to being bright fresh and using more yellows, bright greens, lighter blues and purples. At Henri Beene the Paul Smith Jeans have the colour palette mentioned above using the colours of summer to promote this seasons collection. It is quite hard to believe that it is time for the autumn winter arrivals to start coming in to the Henri Beene store but the new season is imminant. At this point in the year when the new stock starts to arrive it is quite refreshing to see and interesting to look at the progression between brands and what new designs and styles have been used. The Hugo Boss Orange so far has a consistant change of colour offering a definate autumnal approach to the collection. The new Hugo Boss Orange collection has polo shirts, tee shirts, shirts and two new hooded shirts. The Hugo Boss Orange hooded shirts have a completely attached hood to the shirt and a full fastening front placket. This hooded Hugo Boss Orange Shirt is available from a size Medium through to XXLarge and is £124.99. The Hugo Boss Orange tee shirt that has the new graphics on it saying five beers three rums and this tee shirt is available in a white and a burgundy. The burgundy tee shirt seems to be a common colour this season and I can certainly see a trend that is occuring with this colour. Universal Works is a very opposite and nieche brand in comparison to Stone Island with no apparant branding to their clothing. Universal Works is a fringe brand that create clothing that is workwear inspired and offer a look that is very informal, casual but with a lot of design process and attention to the cut and fit of a top, jacket, tee shirt or chinos.
