A high percentage of men and women would have in their mind the brand Barbour when the words Wax Jacket are used.
This illustrates how a type of product and a brand name can become linked together and be seen as one. This has not been a short Journey for Barbour or the Barbour jacket, it started back in 1894. Initially built on the demand of the local sailors and fishermen, they needed to stay dry.
